Is this instead of Airbnb?
No. Keep your Airbnb listing for new guests and bookings. Your website is an extra front door that helps guests find you on Google and contact you directly, and it is where repeat and direct guests book. Do I need a website if I’m already on Airbnb?

How fast can I be live?

Can guests pay online?
No. A guest sends a booking request, you approve it, and an invoice with your bank details is emailed. This keeps the site free of payment-gateway fees and suits most small hosts.
Can guests see live availability?
Yes. Guests see which dates are free and pick their arrival and departure on the calendar, and dates booked on Airbnb and Booking.com are blocked automatically. Read the 40 on Main case study.
Will I get double bookings?
Dates booked on Airbnb and Booking.com are blocked on your site through calendar links, and you can block your own dates by hand. Calendar links refresh a few times a day, so check the Calendar page if a booking is very recent.
Can I change things myself?
Yes. Photos, text, rates, facilities, reviews and branding are all edited in your private editor. No technical knowledge needed. What a guest house website should include: a checklist.
Will it appear on Google?
The site is built for search and we submit it, but Google decides when and where it ranks. A Google Business Profile and a few real reviews help.
Do I need my own domain?
Ideally yes, for example yourname.co.za. We can help you register one for R150 a year, or start on a temporary address for review.
What if I want something changed later?
Edit it yourself, or ask us. On the monthly plan your content edits are included; on the once-off, changes we make are R350 an hour. Code updates never overwrite your content.
